HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WFLA) — Rapper and songwriter Offset was shot Monday near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, a spokesperson told NBC News.
The rapper, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was hospitalized and in stable condition, the spokesperson said.

It’s unclear what led up to the shooting. News Channel 8 has reached out to local law enforcement for more information.
Offset gained fame as a member of the hip hop trio Migos, which he formed in 2008 with fellow rappers Quavo and Takeoff. The group later disbanded in October 2022. Takeoff was killed in a shooting about a month later.
