Providence Police release map outlining person of interest’s location, ask public to send video from area

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department is seeking the public’s help in obtaining new video footage from an area indicated on a map, which police said shows the streets where “the person of interest in the Brown University shooting is confirmed to have been” on Dec. 13.

According to the department, police are seeking footage from the streets highlighted in blue during “any time on the day of the shooting”

The streets in blue include Waterman Street, Thayer Street, Wickenden Street, and Gano Street.

The streets highlighted green show where the person of interest was before the shooting.

The streets highlighted red show where the person of interest was “immediately after the shooting,” according to police.

Anyone with property or camera footage from the streets marked in blue is asked to contact Providence police at 401-272-3121.
