PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence police are investigating after they say a shooting victim showed up outside of Central Station.
Responding officers found an 18-year-old man on the front walkway with gunshot wounds to his back.
The victim and a friend said they were shot at while inside a vehicle near Whelan Rd. and Flower St. before driving to Central Station for help.
The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and is in stable condition.
The incident is still under investigation.
