STANWOOD — The Spartans (14-2 overall, 11-1 league) secured a second straight outright league title by downing the Bruins (5-12, 4-8) 25-10, 24-26, 25-16, 25-15. Whitney Longspaugh (18 kills, 13 digs) had a double-double while Ava Burton was versatile on offense with 10 kills and 13 assists. Addy Schuh led Stanwood with 22 assists, while Harper Neyens added 10 kills in the win. Individual stats were not reported for Cascade.

Wesco 3A/2A South

Mountlake Terrace 3, Shorecrest 1

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — The Hawks (10-7, 6-6) overcame a first-set loss to finish their league slate at .500 in a 23-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-18 win over the Scots (10-8, 5-7). Kenzie Bentosino had 26 digs in the win while Emerson Alley added 36 assists and nine digs for Terrace. Campbell Meek had 14 digs in the win, while Jill Brown’s 14 kills led the offense. Individual stats were not reported for Shorecrest.

BELLINGHAM — The Wildcats (16-2) clinched a spot in Wednesday night’s district championship game against Lynden, to be played at Meridian High School. The winner of that game will advance to the state tournament. Individual stats were not reported for Monday’s game.
