PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) — A police officer has been wounded and a person is dead following a shooting in Pasadena Monday evening.
The shooting happened in the area of Sierra Madre Villa Avenue and Foothill Boulevard, near the Hastings Village shopping center, according to a city spokesperson.
Footage from the scene showed a person’s body on the sidewalk, with crime scene tape blocking off the street. It’s unclear how the person died or how they are connected to the shooting.
The officer’s condition is unclear but they were taken to a hospital.
