GRANTS, N.M. — The Grants Police Department is investigating the death of a man that happened after a reported “large fight” at an event venue.

On Sunday at around 12:36 a.m., Grants police officers responded to a large fight at The Elks. They arrived and found several people at the scene, including a man in a vehicle who they said wasn’t feeling well.

“Officers immediately evaluated the individual and began administering life-saving measures,” police stated.

Fire crews responded to help police with life-saving measures. However, the man died at the scene. The cause of death is unknown.
