Police ID two killed in separate Montgomery shootings

Authorities have released the names of two people killed in separate Montgomery shootings last week.

Police on Monday identified the victims as Rasheen Smith, 40, and A’Daesia Robbins, 28.

Smith was killed Nov. 25, said Lt. Tina McGriff.

Police and fire medics were dispatched at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday to a residence in the 2900 block of Steeple Chase Lane on a report of a person shot.

They arrived to find Smith dead on the scene.

Robbins was killed about 4:10 p.m. Friday in the 2600 block of Shadowood Court.

Lt. Tina McGriff said the preliminary investigation suggests the deadly shooting was domestic related.

Police have not released any additional details in either slaying.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 334-625-2831.
