OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma City Police have arrested a man accused of stabbing another man to death at a homeless encampment in southeast Oklahoma City.
OKCPD says River Curnett was arrested near SW 29th and Meridian on Wednesday afternoon.

Curnett is accused of stabbing 56-year-old Richard Curnett to death at a homeless encampment near SE 17th and Robinson on Friday, May 23. He reportedly ran from the scene and was last seen near Will Rogers Airport attempting to leave the state.
Following the incident, a warrant was issued for Curnett’s arrest on charges of first-degree murder and domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Curnett’s bond is set at $10,000,000.
