Parkside boy’s basketball storms back to beat Washington

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Parkside boy’s basketball took down the Washington Jaguars 75-66 Wednesday night in Princess Anne.

Washington played from ahead for much of the game, leading by as much as 15 points in the second half.

Several times throughout the game, Parkside threatened the lead and closed the gap, but the Rams weren’t able to break through until late in the fourth quarter. Down 66-56 with under 3 and a half minutes to play, Parkside unleashed a deluge of steals and fast break buckets that propelled them to a 19-0 run that finished the game.

Washington’s KJ Jones led all scorers with 34 points, while Parkside’s Javon Comegys led his team with 29.
