ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WOWK) — One person is injured from a vehicle accident between a motorcycle and a vehicle. According to Metro 911, the accident took place on 3rd St. in Saint Albans. MacCorkle Avenue was shut down initially, but has since been reopened. Metro 911 confirmed there was an accident with injuries.
From West Virginia 511 video cameras placed at the intersection of 3rd St. and MacCorkle Avenue, there seemed to have been a mid-sized SUV driving through the intersection while a motorcycle was taking an unprotected left hand turn onto the Saint Albans bridge. It was when the motorcycle crossed through the intersection, when it collided with the vehicle traveling westbound on MacCorkle Avenue.
