OKC family shocked after two kids hit by suspected drunk driver

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KFOR) – Two children were hit by a driver Saturday night in Oklahoma City, according to the family of the children.

Oklahoma City Police reported that they responded near 1200 Northwest 101st Street around 8:30 p.m. for a crash.

Police say they suspect the drive might have been intoxicated. It has not yet been confirmed what led up to the driver hitting two vehicles and the children.

Police confirmed to News 4 the driver hit at least two cars, and one child. The child has been taken to the hospital.

The family of the children told News 4 that two kids were hit in total, and police said that the suspect refused to take a breathalyzer afterwards.

The family also said that one of the two kids had to go to the hospital, the other didn’t.

This is a developing story.
