BENTONVILLE — Northwest Arkansas Community College’s spring semester enrollment count is up from last year, according to the college’s latest enrollment report.
The college, the largest two-year college in the state, is reporting a total of 8,414 students enrolled for academic credit as of Tuesday, the 11th day of classes for the 2026 spring semester, according to a Tuesday news release. The college reported a count of 8,364 students enrolled for academic credit on the 11th day of classes during the 2025 spring semester.
Justin White, vice president of student affairs and strategic initiatives, told the college’s board of trustees this month the college is enrolling a record number of high school students in concurrent credit courses. The college has enrolled 3,412 high school students in concurrent credit classes, according to the release.
The college is also reporting its highest enrollment in digital learning classes since the covid-19 pandemic, with 5,261 students, or 62.5% of the student body, enrolled in at least one online course, according to the release.
The college serves an additional 3,253 professional skills training students through workforce development, job training, adult education and other programs. These students do not count toward the college’s enrollment figures.
