LITTLE RIVER, S.C. — With only 10 days left until Election Day, Republican gubernatorial candidate Rep. Ralph Norman (R-05), attorney general candidate David Pascoe and U.S. Senate candidate Mark Lynch are all barnstorming across South Carolina — hoping to reach undecided voters and urging those who support their message to turn out to the polls.

And on Saturday, May 30, they all three met at the River Hills Clubhouse in Little River to speak in front of approximately 80 people.

Norman, Pascoe and Lynch were all endorsed by the ‘Little River Patriots’ on Friday.

Ralph Norman

Norman began his long day of campaigning by shaking hands, taking pictures with supporters and telling the crowd that the state stands at a critical crossroads.

“South Carolina is at a crossroads, folks,” Norman said. “We can’t afford to get this election wrong…. South Carolina is not ready for the growth we’re experiencing.”

Norman focused his message on cutting government spending, addressing the state’s “crumbling” infrastructure, judicial reform and the need for stronger leadership in Columbia — which he says includes challenging Republican incumbents who aren’t conservative enough.

Norman also announced that he plans to announce his running mate on Monday.

After speaking to the crowd, MyHorryNews asked Norman if he was considering naming Adam Morgan, the former Chairman of the South Carolina Freedom Caucus, as his lieutenant governor. He confirmed that he was.

The congressman continued his Saturday barnstorm tour with stops in Sumter, Seneca and Greer following the event.

Mark Lynch

Lynch is an Upstate businessman challenging Sen. Lindsey Graham for the Republican nomination.

“We endorse Mark Lynch because South Carolina deserves a strong conservative voice in Washington who understands business, faith, family and the everyday concerns of hardworking citizens. Mark Lynch is not a career politician. He is a businessman, a man of faith and a servant leader who understands that Washington is broken and that South Carolina needs representation rooted in courage, conviction and common sense,” the Little River Patriots endorsement statement read.
