KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WOWK) — There is a new way to enjoy those country “off-roads” of West Virginia.

That’s because a new, veteran-owned side-by-side rental company has opened in eastern Kanawha County.

The owners of the rental company Appalachian Outlaw SxS say they love being able to provide off-road vehicles for people to enjoy the rough roads they grew up on.

“We love outdoors and we love riding, so if we can stimulate some extra income or make a living out of being in the woods and showing people a great time and bringing people to our area, that’s a win-win,” co-owner Josh Bowles said.

The company is based in Cedar Grove.

“I’ve rode these same trails since I was little until an adult. The trails have grown, we’ve learned more of the area. It’s something we love and are passionate about,” co-owner John Daniels explained.

They also offer pick-up and drop-off service of the vehicles. All of the booking is done online.
