ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – This Week’s Pets with Potential come from Franklin County Animal Rescue in St. Albans.
Arlo is a shy but sweet kitty just over two years old. He is one of the shelter’s longest current residents. Staff say he’s been slow to come out of his shell, but once he accepts you, he loves to be loved. They say he has a sweet purr and loves gentle neck rubs and soft pets. Arlo will do best in a calm household with patient people.
Cleo is an 18.5-year-old female tortie kitty. She came to the shelter with her best friend and bonded buddy Boots. Cleo loves affection and is described by staff as delightful. She loves to greet staff at her kennel door, asking for pets. Cleo and Boots are a bonded pair, so they will need to go home together.
Boots is 10 years old and loves following his friend Cleo around, never letting her out of his sight. They also snuggle together during their many naps throughout the day. Staff say they’ll do best in a calm and loving home with lots of cozy spots for them to cuddle up in.
