PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man armed with an airsoft pistol was arrested after a menacing incident led to a tactical team standoff outside a home in Cornelius on Tuesday, officials said.
At around 2 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a man pointing a gun at the caller near the 1000 block of South Alpine Street.
As the first deputy arrived in the area, officials said the man went inside a house and refused to come out.

Tactical and crisis negotiations teams then responded, and authorities said deputies applied for a warrant to enter the home.
A short time later, the tactical team used an explosive to breach the door, and the man, identified as 41-year-old Luis Cambron-Flores, exited the home.
Deputies found Cambron-Flores was also driving with a lifetime revoked driver’s license prior to the incident. Additionally, officials said the gun he used to threaten the 911 caller was an airsoft pistol.

Cambron-Flores was taken into custody on charges of felony driving while suspended, menacing, and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Washington County.
No injuries were reported, officials said.
