ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – Police put the campus of Oakland University on lockdown after they found a man stabbed multiple times.
According to police updates via the Oakland University website, the victim was stabbed outside of Van Wagoner House around 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, February 5 and taken to McLaren where his condition is not known at this time.
Police say they received 9-1-1 calls of a fight just outside of Van Wagoner, and when they arrived, that’s when they found the stabbing victim.
WDIV reports the victim was a male, not a student at the University. He was reportedly let inside the building by an unknown person.
Campus is no longer under lockdown, with the exception of Van Wagoner, and police say they feel it is safe to return to normal operations.
Police are looking for two suspects:
- A man in his early 20s, 5′8″ – 5′10″ with dark complexion with chin-length dreadlocks wearing a black North Face jacket and white shoes.
- A man in his early 20s with dark complexion and curly hair wearing black shoes and a camouflage jacket with a black hood.
Police say the suspects’ may be driving a dark colored SUV. Anyone with additional information please contact OUPD at 248-370-3331.
