Man convicted in Shreveport of stolen minibike homicide | News from The Shreveport-Bossier City Advocate

According to the Caddo District Attorney’s Office, Davis posted on Facebook that he would kill the person who stole his minibike. That night, he and a friend pulled up behind a Lincoln SUV at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and San Jacinto Street. A juvenile had asked his sister, Bre’Anna Hall, to follow him “as he drove the minibike from the Martin Luther King neighborhood across town.”

According to the case against Davis, the boy, 15, then returned the bike and fled when Davis began firing. Instead, Hall was killed when she intervened. The defendant fired 18 times in 10 seconds, and five bullets hit Hall.

Davis was also convicted of illegal possession of a firearm by a felon.
