Long Beach State pitcher Jason Gerfers allowed just four singles and two walks in a complete game 2-1 victory today, dealing visiting Hawaii its fifth loss in six Big West games.

UH starter Liam O’Brien allowed no hits other than Lina’s homer in four-plus innings, but walked five and hit a batter and was charged with both LBSU runs, and the loss.
Hawaii moves on to a three-game set at UC Santa Barbara starting Friday.
