Logan man indicted for crash that left two dead

RUSSELLVILLE — A Logan County man involved in a 2025 crash in which two people were killed has been indicted on multiple charges.
Dekamren C. Terry, 24, of Russellville, has been formally charged with two counts of second-degree manslaughter and two counts of second-degree assault.
Terry is accused in the indictment of wantonly driving at an excessive rate of speed in the wrong lane of traffic, resulting in an Aug. 21, 2025, crash on Ky. 100 in which Lee Bradshaw and Jose Garcia Jr. died.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash, determining that Terry was traveling east in a Ford F-150 about five miles outside Russellville when it crashed into a westbound Ford Crown Victoria driven by Bradshaw, 32, and carrying the 28-year-old Garcia and two children in the 5500 block of Ky. 100.
Bradshaw and Garcia, both of Russellville, were pronounced dead at the scene, while the children, ages 7 and 12, were treated at area hospitals for their injuries.
Multiple law enforcement agencies and local fire departments responded to the early morning crash, in which Terry received minor injuries.

A grand jury in Logan County returned the indictment against Terry on July 22, and he was arrested the next day by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office during a traffic stop.
Terry remains in Logan County Detention Center under a $75,000 cash bond and is due to appear in Logan Circuit Court on Aug. 13 for arraignment.
Second-degree manslaughter and second-degree assault are both Class C felonies punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
