PB man is arrested on drug, gun counts
A Pine Bluff man was arrested Monday on gun and drug charges after a road rage incident in North Little Rock.
Markeevion Dajuan Jackson, 27, was arrested by the Arkansas State Police at 11:20 a.m. at the Speedway gas station on Interstate 30, according to the arrest report.
The report states that Jackson — who is listed as a DoorDash driver in the report — was identified as the driver and only occupant of a car involved in a road rage incident on Interstate 630 in which a gun was displayed and pointed at the driver of another vehicle.
A state trooper located a vehicle matching the description provided sitting at the gas station.
When the trooper made contact with Jackson, he refused to obey multiple orders to exit the vehicle, according to the report. The trooper then removed Jackson from the vehicle. Jackson “actively resisted by pulling away from me,” the trooper reported.
A search of the vehicle found marijuana in the driver’s side door and a gun matching the one described by a victim was found in the glove compartment.
Jackson is a convicted felon, according to the report.
He was charged with aggravated assault, illegal possession of a gun by certain person and possession of a controlled substance.
Jackson is being held without bond in the Pulaski County Jail.

An Alexander man was arrested early Monday morning on gun and drug charges, according to a Little Rock police arrest report.
Juan Diego Dimas-Salas, 24, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. at 3901 S. University Ave.
According to the report, officers were flagged down by an unknown civilian who told them a white truck was swerving in and out of traffic and that the driver might be drunk.
The officers located the truck at the South University address and made contact with Dimas-Salas, who they noted was under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested due to the fact his truck was still running.
A search of the truck located a firearm and cocaine.
Dimas-Salas was charged with felonies for simultaneous possession of a firearm and drugs and is being held without bond.
