Linda J. Anoe

Windsor, VT – Linda J. Anoe, 76, died at Elm Wood Care Center in Claremont, NH on Friday, October 24, 2025. She was born on August 23, 1949, in Windsor, VT to Deane L. and Virginia Rose (Smith) Herschel and spent most of her life in Windsor as an active member of the community. She met and married David Anoe in 1972, and they raised their daughters in Windsor. David and Linda enjoyed traveling for Elks Lodge events, seeing the United States by train, and camping. She was the Director of Health Information Management at Mt. Ascutney Hospital for 45 years and enjoyed reading and solving puzzles. After David died in 2022, she moved to Summercrest Senior Living Community in Newport, NH.

She is survived by two daughters, Kerri Farnsworth and husband Peter and Jennifer Bly and husband David, all of Goshen, NH; two siblings Penny Douyard and husband Barry of Biddeford, ME and Dennis Herschel and wife Amy of Springfield, VT; her very dear friend Kathy Beasaw of Windsor; four grandchildren Jessica, Benjamin, Sarah, and Timmothy; four great grandchildren Jack, Eli, Parker, and Olivia; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband David, and one brother Gary Herschel.

A private committal will be held at St. Francis Cemetery in Windsor and memorial donations are appreciated to the Dartmouth Memorial Hospital Neurology Memory Research Clinic.
