Letters: Trump’s first hundred days have been incredible | Letters

After the first 100 days of the second Trump administration, it’s time to give credit where credit is due. I just didn’t get it at first, but now I see how President Donald Trump and his accomplished cabinet is making us all great and greater. To those who claim he is a vindictive egomaniac with the attention span of a gnat, I say just look the wins so far!

Thanks to Trump’s foxy choice to lead the Pentagon, we are safer than ever. A quick scan of my Signal App lets me know who we’re bombing and when. There’s no “real” danger in keeping friends and family and the media in the loop — it’s called transparency!

Thanks to Trump’s brilliant “on again, off again, oops again” tariff strategy, we’re all richer. We’ve cut trillions in liquidity from the world’s financial markets, thrown American leadership into question and made China look like a stable, reliable partner. Guess I need to reread, “The Art of the Deal.”

Thanks to flag-waving, democracy-loving Donny, we’ve done away with time-consuming due process, tried to intimidate free speech at universities, and asked, “Why does everyone deserve a hearing at the Supreme Court?”

And lastly, thanks to Trump, we’re all healthier now that we’ve cut funding for science, questioned lifesaving vaccines and even figured how to Make Measles A Threat Again.

And there you have it. If after the first 100 days of life under Trump, you don’t feel richer, safer and more secure about America’s future, you obviously don’t see the cunning in the chaos. We are winning!

We should have a parade.
