Can’t get no, can’t get no … satisfaction!
Would you rather hear the Stones or the Benny Benassi version for the Saints game overhead music in the Superdome? I am old school when it comes to music in the Dome for the Saints games. Anything else, “I can’t get no satisfaction!”
As far as decibels go, I could do without the clanging and slamming of hands and paraphernalia on the top of the metal signage that is accessible from the front row of the terrace, which produces a sound similar to convicts in prison cells wanting to be released.
Noise in the Dome should be by clapping, stomping, yelling, hollering, cowbells, etc., but not by beating on the signage. Just how much forceful, cumulative pounding will the sign’s structure endure? How much will our ears and patience endure?
Safety, security, sanity, sobriety, scoring, satisfaction in overhead music: All were lacking at the Monday night game. And of course a “W”!
