Lefty’s Alley and Eats is welcoming in the new NFL season with NFL Kickoff Launch Parties at its Lewes and Newark locations with raffles to support local nonprofit organizations.
Lefty’s Alley and Eats will celebrate the start of a new NFL season with NFL Kickoff Launch Parties at its Lewes and Newark locations on Sunday, September 13, according to a company press release sent on September 9. The launch parties will feature food and drink specials throughout the day, raffles and giveaways in addition to the football action.
Raffle tickets will cost $5 and the winners will be announced at halftime of the 1:00 p.m. slate of games. All raffle proceeds will be donated to two local nonprofits. Each Lefty’s location will match the total amount raised on site and make additional donations to each locations respective organization.
The Lewes location will be donating to Home of the Brave which is an organization based in Milford, Delaware, trying to reduce homelessness for Military Veterans, according to the organization’s website. The Newark location — the company’s newest location — will support Special Olympics Delaware which provides sporting opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

“Football season is always a big part of the experience at Lefty’s, but we wanted this year’s kickoff to be about more than just watching the games,” Lefty’s Alley and Eats founder and owner, DJ Hill, said via the press release. “It’s an opportunity for our guests, our team and Lefty’s to come together, have some fun and make a meaningful contribution to organizations doing incredible work right here in our communities.”
Representatives from each nonprofit organization are expected to be in attendance at the respective locations to share more about their organization and the work being done in the community.
Lefty’s launch parties are the start of its gameday schedule for the 2026-2027 NFL season.
Starting on September 20, Lefty’s will follow a “Sunday Game Day routine” that features a raffle with one free entry, a jersey giveaway at halftime of the 1:00 p.m. slate of games and food and drink specials throughout the day. The routine is scheduled to take place across all 18 NFL regular season Sundays.
