Tatum Boettjer and Salma Khedr of Western Kentucky women’s basketball have earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, the organization announced Wednesday.
Boettjer played in all 29 games for WKU this season, averaging 4.3 points per game and 2.1 rebounds. She scored in double figures in five games in 2025-26, including a season high 18 points against Kentucky State. She hit the second most 3-pointers on the team, connecting on 38.
Boettjer is a Psychology major, concentrating in Sports Psychology.
Khedr was named to the All-CUSA Honorable Mention team this season and was the second leading scorer for WKU in 2025-26, averaging 10.4 points per game. She scored in double figures in 15 games on the season, including two 20-point performances.
Khedr is a Computer Science major.
