Katherine Amory Leland

Hanover, NH – Katherine Amory Leland, 87, died April 17th, 2026 in Hanover, NH.

“Kay” was born in Boston, MA on January 5th, 1939 daughter of Amory and Katherine (Murray) Leland.

Educated at Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, Trinity College, Washington, D.C. and Women’s Medical College of Pennsylvania earning her medical degree in 1964. She completed pediatric training at Boston City Hospital and Stanford Medical Center, Palo Alto, CA and was in the private practice of pediatric in Hyannis, MA from 1969-1991. She moved to New Hampshire, living in Thornton until 2016, then to Hanover.

Kay Enjoyed sailing and traveling, many friendships and her wonderful dogs. She was predeceased by her sisters, Elizabeth L. Sullivan-Grady and Emily Moran.

A private Funeral Mass will be held in Hanover with burial to follow at Mad River Cemetery in Thornton, NH.

Donations in Kay’s name can be made to The Salvation Army or a charity of one’s choice.

The Rand-Wilson Funeral Home is responsible for arrangements.
