KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is asking for information that could help lead to a break in a homicide investigation and find the victim’s missing property.
According to the KCSO, detectives are still actively investigating the death of Lenard Pierre Jackson, 38, of Dundee, Michigan. Jackson’s remains were found ver a hillside along Walnut Gap Road just outside of Charleston city limits on April 15. Jackson had been reported missing on March 26, deputies say.

Deputies say that during the investigation, they learned that some of Jackson’s personal items were missing. The KCSO says these items are not only valuable, but could also be crucial pieces of evidence that could help identify suspects, bring them to justice and bring closure to Jackson’s loved ones.
The KCSO says the missing items are:
- A black Louis Vuitton jacket
- A men’s gold Rolex watch with a green watch face
- A gold chain necklace with an Arabic symbol that means “God.”

The KCSO is asking folks to carefully examine these images and share them with others to help identify them.
