Heavy snow pauses classes and after school activities

Juneau School District schools are giving students the day off on Monday, Dec. 15 due to weather conditions.

An email from the district states that heavy snow is expected to continue through the day and as a result all classes, in person meetings and after school activities at the district’s schools are cancelled.

Notification of the closures went out to families at 6 a.m. Monday according to an email from the district.
