The body of Zaela Walker, a 3-year-old girl who went missing in 2018, still has not been found.
But on Thursday, a judge sentenced her North Las Vegas parents, who pleaded guilty in connection with her death.
Ricky Beasley, 35, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in April. Chief District Judge Tierra Jones ordered him to serve 12 ten to 25 years in prison, with over seven years credit for time already spent incarcerated.
Lakeia Walker pleaded guilty to accessory to commit murder. Jones sentenced her to probation, with a two- to five-year suspended sentence.
