BURNSVILLE, MN – Jamestown Jimmies Women’s Basketball freshman forward Allie Berns’ efficient performance of last weekend has been recognized by the NSIC.

The conference names players of the week from the North and South divisions and touts three other excellent performances to constitute what it calls the “Shining 5.”  Berns made that list with her career high 31-point performance last Saturday in the Jimmies’ 67-58 loss to Northern State at Harold Newman Arena.

Berns scored with utmost efficiency, hitting 11-of-13 field goals and 9-of-12 free throws.  Her previous career best had been 28 points in her first collegiate game on November 14 against Dickinson State.
