JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Regional Airport reached a historic milestone in July of 2026 recording 1,572 passenger boardings, the highest number of July enplanements in the airport’s history.
The previous July record of 1,297 boardings was established in 2017, making July 2026’s total an increase of 275 passengers, or more than 21 percent, over the previous record.
“This is an exciting achievement for our airport and our community,” said Airport Director Katie Hemmer. “Setting a new July record reflects the continued confidence travelers have in using their hometown airport. Every passenger who chooses to fly from Jamestown helps strengthen local air service and demonstrates the importance of maintaining convenient commercial air access for our region.”
The record follows a continued trend of strong passenger demand at Jamestown Regional Airport and highlights the value of local air service for business and leisure travel.
