BISMARCK – Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Soccer is bound for another state tournament.

The Blue Jays had a 1-1 draw with Legacy Tuesday at the Sanford Sports Complex.  This result, coupled with a goalless draw for Century against Minot, assures that Jamestown will finish no worse than fourth in the WDA standings and will play in the NDHSAA State Tournament May 29-31.  That will be the Blue Jays’ third straight state tournament appearance and fourth in the last five years.

Layla Becker scored the goal for Jamestown (9-2-3) in the 22nd minute.  Avery Will tied the match in the 55th minute for Legacy.

Anna Lunde made five saves in net.

Jamestown will play Thursday at Century.
