Intense tornado, baseball-sized hail, isolated significant gusts to 75 mph in Tornado, Severe Storm Watches

A tornado watch is now in effect for far southwest Michigan. A severe thunderstorm watch is also in effect from Iowa to part of Michigan. There are expectations of a few tornadoes, which could be intense. We could also have very large hail, and a few high-end severe wind gusts.

In Michigan, the new tornado watch includes four counties right along the Indiana border. These counties are Berrien, Branch, Cass and St. Joseph. This includes the cities of Benton Harbor, Bronson, Buchanan, Cassopolis, Coldwater, Dowagiac, Edwardsburg, Fair Plain, Marcellus, Mendon, Niles, Paw Paw Lake, St. Joseph, Sturgis, Three Rivers, Union City and White Pigeon.
