The CBS reality show “Big Brother” is a game of social strategy, but it also has a great track record for launching lasting love stories.
“We’ve had more [successful] marriages than ‘The Bachelor’ — and we are not a dating show,” longtime “Big Brother” host Julie Chen Moonves told People in July 2025. “Just warms my heart to see it.”
In fact, in 26 years of “Big Brother,” there’s only been one season with zero “showmances” — season 1. Rome Seymour and Lyric Medeiros recently became the first showmance of season 28. Their onscreen courtship was cut short by Rome’s elimination during week two, but they’ve already expressed interest in getting married one day.
Counting Rome and Lyric, there are eight “Big Brother” couples together today. Here are the duos who are still going strong.
Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd (season 11)
During their 2009 season, Jeff and Jordan’s first kiss was interrupted when their castmate Ronnie Talbott walked in and farted. Jordan went on to win the season, while Jeff was awarded America’s Favorite Houseguest. The duo returned to compete in “Big Brother 13.”
Because their love story began on the CBS reality show, Jeff proposed to Jordan inside the “Big Brother” house during season 16 in 2014. He told her they were there to host a competition before popping the question.
Jeff and Jordan got married in 2016. They share two sons: Lawson, 9, and Layton, 7. Jordan commemorated their 10-year wedding anniversary via Instagram in March.

“10 years, countless memories, and so much love. Happy 10 year anniversary @jeffschroeder23,” she captioned the post.
Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas (season 12)
Brendon and Rachel, a.k.a. “Brenchel,” got into a showmance during the first week of their 2010 season. They returned to compete on season 13 with their fellow “Big Brother” power couple, Jeff and Jordan. Rachel won “Big Brother 13” in 2011.
Rachel and Brendon got married in 2012. Their 10-year-old daughter, Adora, is known as the first “Big Brother” baby. Rachel and Brendon also share son Adler, 6.
During a July 2026 interview with Us Weekly, Rachel emphasized the importance of prioritizing “adult time” when you’re married with kids.

“The kids are right now in the other room or I would say more,” she joked. “But making sure that you take time for each other because you need that. You need to reconnect on different levels. We’ve done couples counseling, and we totally believe in that too.”
Daniele Donato and Dominic Briones (season 13)

Dani and Dominic didn’t become romantically involved until after their 2011 season ended.
“After the finale, we became inseparable. We got to know each other really well, and we fell in love!” Dani told People in 2013, shortly after she and Dominic tied the knot. The couple share two daughters: Tennessee, 7, and Lux, 4.
Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo (season 18)
Nicole was in a showmance with Corey Brooks during her and Victor’s 2016 season. Nicole and Corey split a few weeks after Nicole was crowned the winner of “Big Brother 18.” Nicole and Victor reconnected at the “Big Brother 19” premiere the following summer and started dating soon after. They placed fourth on season 31 of “The Amazing Race” in 2018.
Nicole and Victor got married in 2021. They share three children: son Arrow, 5, and 5-month-old twins River and Goldie. In a May Instagram post, Nicole said that she and Victor made it through their twins’ newborn stage “still laughing, joking, loving and even doing photo ops together.”
Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson (season 19)
Like Brendon and Rachel, Jessica and Cody started a showmance within days of meeting in the “Big Brother” house. While they placed 12th and 11th on the 2017 season, Jessica and Cody won season 30 of “The Amazing Race” together in 2018.
The pair got married in 2018. They share five daughters — Maverick, 7, Carter, 5, Atlas, 4, Gemma, 2, and Italia, 9 months — plus Cody’s daughter from a previous relationship, Paisley, 14.

Cody took a moment to appreciate Jessica in a June 2026 Instagram post.
“I have the loveliest wife. That is all, carry on,” he captioned a photo of him kissing Jessica on the cheek.
Chris ‘Swaggy C’ Williams and Bayleigh Dayton (season 20)
Swaggy C and Bayleigh only spent 23 days in the “Big Brother” house together, but it was enough time for them to fall in love. They got engaged during the live finale of their 2018 season.
The couple tied the knot in 2019. They share daughter Alora, 4, and son Christopher, 2. Swaggy C and Bayleigh moved to Dubai in 2023. In June 2026, Bayleigh wished her husband a Happy Father’s Day via Instagram.
“I don’t think anyone really knows how much behind the scenes work this man has to do on an everyday basis to keep everyone happy in business, in family and life in general. The pressure is REAL. But, the way that he shows up for us regardless of the circumstances… nothing is more attractive in a husband,” she wrote.
America Lopez and Cory Wurtenberger (season 25)
America and Cory were more of a slow burn on their 2023 season, sharing their first kiss on day 40. Their romance is still going strong three years later. In July 2026, America shared an Instagram video of her and Cory creating custom fragrances together.
Rome Seymour and Lyric Medeiros (season 28)
Lyric is still in the running to win “Big Brother 28,” while Rome was evicted during week 2. Right before he left the house, Rome kissed Lyric and declared his love for her in front of the entire cast.
Rome told NJ.com that he FaceTimed with Lyric’s parents for “an hour and a half” shortly after his elimination.
“They’re an awesome family, and I can see where she gets her stellar personality from,” he said.
