COLUMBIA — A new fast casual restaurant serving seafood and chicken wings is open northwest of downtown Columbia.
Hooks & Cook opened its second location at 656 Bush River Road on May 5, according to its Facebook page. The seafood joint originated in Augusta, G.A.
“Come enjoy the same great taste you love at a brand new spot,” its staff said in a post announcing the Columbia opening.
Its menu offers everything from conch fritters to grouper to oysters, including a variety of fish and chicken wing dinner options. It’s open daily from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Hooks & Cook neighbors NewSpring Church, Lasting Impressions Coffee and a Midas tire shop along the busy thoroughfare through northwest Columbia. The stretch near the new restaurant sees traffic from around 20,200 cars per day, according to South Carolina Department of Transportation data.
