HONOLULU (KHON2) – The holiday spirit is already here as the “Hawaiʻi Holiday Craft and Gift Fair” returns to the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall this weekend.
There are over 250 local vendors showcasing handmade gifts, home décor, and treats. The event gives shoppers a chance to get a head start on their holiday shopping.
Kate Nawahine of Wahine Toa designs said supporting local is especially meaningful this year.
“We’re all feeling the increase in costs in dog food and gas,” she said. “For me, it’s important to know that my money is supporting another local family and their vision, their drive, and their hustle.”
The craft fair continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $7, and entry is free for military families and children under seven.
