BAY CITY, MI — Asher Clark had players chasing him all season.
Now they’ll be chasing his records for years.
The John Glenn soccer sensation closed out his high school days in dazzling fashion, setting program records with 68 goals on the season and 164 for his career.
And he certainly left his mark on the Bay County Boys Soccer Leaders.
Clark scored 53 regular season goals, winning the scoring title for the second straight year and eclipsing the previous mark of 50 shared by Glenn’s Ty Richards (2008) and Connor Windiate (2013).
Clark is the fifth player to win the goal-scoring title in multiple seasons since Bay County Leaders began in 2003, tracking the top regular season producers at Bay City Central, Bay City Western, John Glenn, Essexville Garber and Pinconning.
Western’s Luke Shotwell claimed the assists title, setting up teammates for 15 goals on the year. He is the first player from Western to lead Bay County in assists since Brenden Dore in 2020.
Western’s Blake Wrzesinski finished as runner-up in both goals and assists this season.
Western’s Logan Courier won the crown for keeper save percentage with an .836 efficiency. He is the first Western player to lead that category since Austin Miller in 2019.
Here is a look at the 2025 Bay County Leaders along with a historic look at past stat champions.
