Buzz: Kinon Bastian had a double and 2 RBIs in first inning to give No. 2 seed TFA (29-4) the lead it never relinquished after St. Andrew’s (22-7) scored twice in the top of the inning. Kyle Hopper got the pitching win for the Royals with 9 strikeouts in 6 innings and no walks. Blake Fields pitched a scoreless 7th inning for the save, and he also had a double and a run scored.

Buzz: Eden Bastian went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 RBIs as Geneva scored 8 runs in the first inning and hung for the win. The Knights (22-3) advance to their first state championship game. Ella Ingram was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBIs, while Chloe Incinelli also went 2 for 4 with a triple and 2 RBIs.
