Glen Rock rolls with shutout over Saddle Brook in North 1 opener – Boys lacrosse recap

Cooper Consoli and Will Corry each recorded two goals and five assists to lead third-seeded Glen Rock to a 16-0 victory over 14th-seeded Saddle Brook in the first round of the North 1 tournament, in Glen Rock.

The Panthers (9-7) advance to next Monday’s quarterfinal round, where they will face the winner of Thursday’s first round tilt between sixth-seeded Jefferson and 11th-seeded Pascack Hills.

Will Ryglewicz added two goals and one assist while Jack Finkel and Ronan Dunn each scored twice. Bruno Livolsi recorded a goal and two assists in the win while Tyler Bosin and Joshua Kim each finished with one goal and one assist. Billy Sanders, Jack Tarrant, and John Iachetti each scored once for Glen Rock.

Brennen Visokey, George Deely and Will Berard shared duties in goal to earn the shutout. Visokey and Deely each recorded two saves while Berard stopped three shots.

Saddle Brook ends the season at 12-5.
