INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The 7th annual Whimsy & Blooms Vintage and Handmade Market will return to Pleasant View Farm in Franklin on June 19 and 20, featuring more than 70 vendors, live music, food trucks and tours of the farm’s gardens.
The event begins with a VIP Garden Party from 4 to 8 p.m. on June 19, followed by general admission from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 20.
The market is held at Pleasant View Farm, a historic property owned by the McAlpin family and designated as a Hoosier Homestead for nearly two centuries. The annual event opens the private farm to visitors from across Indiana and neighboring states.
“We have 70 vendors setting up with everything from antiques to handmade items,” said Jennifer McAlpin Shireman, daughter of the farm owners. “We have live music and food trucks, and we really encourage people to spend the day and enjoy our property.”
Event coordinator Tony Quintana said shoppers can browse a variety of handcrafted and vintage goods, including home décor, fashion, jewelry, pet accessories, and specialty products from local artisans.
Presented by Vintage Whimsy, a downtown Franklin vintage and home goods shop, the market will be held rain or shine.
Admission to the VIP Garden Party is $20, while general admission on Saturday is $10. A wine truck will also be available during the Friday evening event.
