Former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on leave from CBS after OWI arrest

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo, was arrested on July 23 for suspicion of operating while intoxicated (OWI). Romo, a lead NFL game analyst, is now put on leave, according to CBS.

The leave is until further notice.

Romo’s court date is set for Sept. 21.

J.J Watt, former Houston Texans defensive end, will be filling his spot while Romo is on leave.
