Felton man faces stalking charges after violating several court orders

FELTON, Del. – A Felton man is being held in jail after being arrested on stalking charges.

On May 22nd, Felton Police arrested 45-year-old Steven R. Huey. Huey is accused of having numerous unlawful contacts with a female victim throughout the months of April and May. Investigators say Huey has violated six court orders by contacting the victim, causing her to be in fear.

Huey was arrested without incident in Dover. He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $62,000 cash bail.

In April, Huey was arrested on domestic violence charges following a domestic incident. Investigators say he strangled the female victim and endangered a child. Huey was issued a protection from abuse order and a no-contact order, which still stands, police say.
