Feltner’s Whatta-Burger Closes After 58 Years

After 58 years in business, Feltner’s Whatta-Burger is officially closing its doors.

The longtime Russellville restaurant announced the news in an emotional Facebook post, thanking customers for decades of support, memories and community.

“To every customer who chose us for lunch breaks, family dinners, after razorback game meals, Arkansas Tech game meals, late night cravings, celebrations, hard days, and everything in between — thank you,” the restaurant wrote. “You were never ‘just customers’ to us. So many of you became family.”

The restaurant reflected on the relationships built over the years, especially with loyal regulars whose orders became instantly recognizable to staff.

“A restaurant is more than food. It’s people. It’s memories. It’s community,” the post continued.

For anyone who wants one last taste of Feltner’s Whatta-Burger, the last chance to grab a bite is before 9 p.m. tonight, Friday, May 8.

“We will never forget you,” the post concluded.
