Events in Anne Arundel Feb. 6-8

There’s still snow on the ground, but hopefully, at this point, you’re back into your daily routine. You better be, because it’s going to be a busy weekend.

Super Bowl parties

There is really one huge thing to do this weekend, and that’s spending time with others watching America’s Game. Here are some places around Anne Arundel where you can catch it:

  • Della Notte on Cape St Claire Road in Annapolis, starting at 6:30 p.m.
  • The Captain’s Daughter inside the Westin Annapolis on Westgate Circle, just off West Street in Annapolis, starting at 6 p.m.
  • GameOn Bar + Arcade on West Street in Annapolis, starting at 6:30 p.m.
  • Twain’s Tavern on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Pasadena, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Puppy Bowl watch party in Pasadena

Operation Paws for Homes is holding a Puppy Bowl watch party earlier in the day on Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. It’ll be at the Hysteria Taphouse in Pasadena.

The watch party doubles as an adoption event for some of the operation’s pups.

Galentine’s Day in Annapolis

This weekend brings many observations of Galentine’s Day, a pre-Valentine’s holiday for people to share the love with their friends. Here’s a smattering of what’s going on for it:

  • Galentine’s Night Market & Social, Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at ArtFarm in Annapolis
  • Playful Grace Lace Painting, Saturday from 9:45 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Club 164 in Annapolis
  • Galentine’s Paint and Sip Night, Saturday at 4 p.m. at Harry Browne’s in Annapolis

‘Holes’ at Children’s Theatre of Annapolis

Children’s Theatre of Annapolis’ rendition of “Holes,” based on the book of the same name, digs its way on stage starting Friday. It will be on for three weekends, closing Feb. 22.

Friday shows are at 7 p.m., Saturdays have shows at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Sunday shows are at 2 p.m., all at the theatre on Bay Head Road.

This Sunday’s show specifically will feature a post-show Q&A and post-show backstage tour. Next week will have a relaxed performance for those sensitive to loud noises and bright lights, as well as a show with a sign language interpreter.

Tickets can be found on TicketLeap.
