ESPN8: The Ocho returns to the sports network for four days of unconventional sports coverage.
Fans can catch the action across ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU starting tonight at 7 p.m. ET, with streaming options available through Fubo, DirecTV Stream, Sling and ESPN Unlimited.
What is ESPN8: The Ocho?
ESPN8: The Ocho started as a joke in the 2004 film, “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.” The dodgeball championship the teams competed in was broadcast on the network, dedicated to niche sports. “If it’s almost a sport, we’ve got it here,” according to the film. ESPN then turned the joke into annual coverage, bringing ESPN8: The Ocho to life once a year.
How Can I Stream It?
The majority of the coverage will be broadcast on ESPN2, but some of the sports will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPNU.
