Dominic Dumais homered, singled and drove in five runs for Edward Little in its 21-0 baseball victory over rival Lewiston on Wednesday in Lewiston.

Dumais also pitched the fourth inning and struck out the three batters he faced.

Richie Norgren, Peyton Kelsea, Adam Meserve and Evan Scott all had two hits for the Red Eddies (2-2). Blake Chamberlain tripled and knocked in four runs, while Zannon Marris (double) and Norgren each had two RBI.

Cam Blais recorded the Blue Devils’ (0-4) only hit.

OXFORD HILLS 11, MT. BLUE 1: Colton Jendrick, Cameron Pulkkinen and Finley Cavers each drove in two runs as the Vikings (4-0) continued their torrid start to the season with a five-inning victory over the Cougars (2-2) in Paris.

Jendrick doubled and scored four runs, while Pulkkinen and Cavers finished with two hits apiece. Ryder Kennison also had a double for Oxford Hills.

Mt. Blue’s Oliver Cormier led off the game with a home run. That was the only hit and run allowed by Vikings pitchers Tucker Hilden (five strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings), Niko Powers and Logan Norris.

YARMOUTH 9, POLAND 1: The Clippers (1-2) broke the game open with a six-run sixth inning, beating the Knights (2-3) for their first win of the season at Yarmouth.

Yarmouth led 3-0 before the big inning. Starting pitcher Tyler Emerson struck out seven batters and held Poland two three hits over six innings. Jack Flanagan (double), Gabe Janczuk and Teague Halsted each had two hits and drove in a run. Jack Estabrook also had a double.

Watson Paradis led Poland with two hits.

SOFTBALL

DIRIGO 7, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1: A four-run first inning boosted the Cougars (3-0) to a Class C South victory over the Phoenix (1-1) in Jay.

Nikole Turnbull started Dirigo’s scoring with an RBI double, then Abby Luczynski singled home two runs and Xandria Libby knocked in one. Luczynski and Libby each finished with two RBI.

Lana Waite earned the win for the Cougars, striking out eight batters and allowing only three hits over seven innings.

Devin Bryant, Khloe Ames and Laya Spear recorded Spruce Mountain’s hits.

LEAVITT 11, ERSKINE ACADEMY 4: Hailey Cyr, Charlee Pelletier and Cayleigh Rose each had two hits to lead the Hornets (2-1) over the Eagles (2-1) in South China.

Cyr struck out six to earn the win.

Lilly Clark and Kammie Thompson each had three hits for Erskine. Clark and Faith MacMaster both had a double.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 15, MARANACOOK 3: Evelyn Pettengill struck out nine batters and had two extra-base hits to lead the unbeaten Mustangs (3-0) past the Black Bears (0-3) in five innings in Monmouth.

Pettengill doubled and tripled. She also drove in two runs and scored twice. Lila Poussard and Kaitlyn Frost also had two hits for Monmouth.

Danika Dunn had two of Maranacook’s five hits, a double and a single.

POLAND 15, YARMOUTH 10: Julia Paradis drove in four runs with two doubles and a single, leading the Knights (3-2) over the Clippers (1-2) in Yarmouth.

Carly-Ann Jarvis and Phoebe Paradis each added two hits and two RBI.

Jillian Pires had two hits, including a double, and two RBI for Yarmouth.

OXFORD HILLS 14, MT. BLUE 4: The Vikings (4-0) overcame the Cougars’ (1-3) fast start to remain unbeaten with a five-inning victory in Paris.

Mt. Blue opened the game with a four-run top of the first, but Oxford Hills responded with seven runs in the bottom half of the opening frame. The Vikings then piled on two more runs in the second and three in the third.

Kyeria Morse, Jadyn Campbell, Karyssa Morse and Natasha Child each drove in two runs for Oxford Hills, which is ranked fifth in the Varsity Maine poll.

Kyeria Morse struck out seven batters in 4 1/3 innings of relief to earn the win.

Ava Davis drove in two runs and Molly Hambrick had a double for Mt. Blue.
