Town commissioners are set to vote on it Tuesday.
EDGEWOOD, N.M. — The clock is ticking for Santa Fe County and the Town of Edgewood to come to an agreement on emergency services and a vote is coming Tuesday.
The vote comes after the town and the county have been debating this issue for months. Last week, when it looked like there was a deal about to be signed, an Edgewood commissioner reportedly changed the terms without telling anyone. That led to Santa Fe County backing out. However, leaders said they’re now back to working on the original agreement.
There is a July 1 deadline to get the agreement finalized.
