MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Dee’s Donuts is a gluten-free mobile food truck based out of Minot. They say they offer many items, such as mini donuts, funnel cakes, corndogs, and hotdogs, all gluten-free.
Owner Duane Lothspeich says the inspiration behind this idea came from him and one of his daughters having Celiac, an autoimmune disorder caused by an adverse reaction to gluten.
You can find them at many different events this summer, like country fairs around the area and one-day events happening in Minot.

Lothspeich says it’s been very rewarding to see one of his dreams come true.
“The whole family’s been involved with this and supportive of me and the way it sounds, the gluten free community is pretty welcoming to it, so that’s my reward,” Lothspeich said. “And to give individuals that couldn’t have treats or food at events to be able to taste gluten free foods and not feel left out.”
You can find Dee’s Donuts on Facebook, where they will keep you updated on where to find them. Their next event will be at the Asbury Camp Centennial on Saturday, June 7 in Washburn.
