KEARNEY, Neb. (KLKN) — Three cases of Cyclospora infection have been identified in Kearney. Investigations are ongoing as to the possible connection to the outbreak.
Two Rivers Public Health Department (TRPHD) announced the presence of the cases today.
Symptoms of Cyclospora include watery diarrhea, weight loss, nausea and more.
TRPHD said they encourage residents to take precautions to prevent Cyclospora infection. The precautions include washing fresh produce thoroughly, washing hands and drinking safe water.
